12295 - Assistant Management Accountant Job Spec
Our client - a services group of companies based in Nottingham - is seeking an experienced accountant to assist with month-end processes on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Reviewing of management accounts,
Preparation of month-end journals,
Prepare accruals & prepayment schedules,
Add fixed assets to Sage,
Monthly fixed asset reconciliation & balance sheet reconciliations,
Process payments on the bank,
Credit card reconciliations,
Review timesheets for content capitalisation,
Assisting other members of the Finance Team as required.
The Right Person
Min. AAT Level-4 qualified or equivalent,
Previous accounting experience within industry or practice in line with the duties listed,
Effective communication skills (written & verbal English), confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, able to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team within a larger organisation,
Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills,
Strong IT skills incl. Sage & MS Office (Access, Excel (incl. pivots & lookups), Outlook & Word to a good standard).
Appointment Type: Permanent
Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 per annum (subject to experience)
