Business Development Manager Luxury Travel - South West England

Base Salary £38,000 + £6,000 car allowance + Bonus and Benefits

Fully remote/field based.

My client is an award-winning leading luxury tour operator offering some of the most unforgettable bespoke travel experience worldwide.

They offer a bespoke high-end tailormade programme to destinations across Europe, Africa, Asia, Indian Ocean, the Americas, Caribbean, Australia, and the Middle East.

My client is expanding and are in a financially strong position and are making bookings well into 2023, 2024 and beyond!

They are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to Join their team covering the South West region with the objective to further grow travel trade business with existing travel trade partners as well as developing new accounts.

Applicants must have previous business development/account management within the leisure travel industry with an established travel trade network within the region.

The role is fully remotely based and will be covering the South West, candidates need to be permanently located within the region.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Maximise and increase sales revenue in your territory.

Implement the sales strategy for your region.

Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, consortia and select tour operators through regular face-to-face visits.

Support the Business Development Manager in servicing key accounts offering agent training and attending trade and consumer events.

Identifying any new business development channels in your region

Manage your pre-allocated sales & marketing budget to maximise the return on investment for those agencies for which you are accountable.

Business Development Manager Experience Required:

Experience in a field-based BDM/Account Management role within the leisure travel industry is essential.

Established network and relationships within the territory of travel trade agents and partners

Proven track record in meeting and delivering on sales targets.

Proven business development and account management skills

Full driving license is essential.

Business Development Manager Salary and Benefits:

Base Salary to £38,000 depending on experience.

Generous car allowance of £500 per month

Bonus scheme based on performance.

22 days annual leave
