Category Manager

The Category Manager will be responsible for managing the retail food & beverage category, ensuring that our offerings meet the needs and preferences of our customers, while also achieving our financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive revenue and profitability for retail food & beverage
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best pricing and quality for products
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including culinary, marketing, and operations teams, to develop and implement product offerings that align with our brand and customer needs
- Monitor and analyze category performance, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Requirements:
- Experience in retail, with a focus on food & beverage
- Proven track record of driving category growth and profitability
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
