Meridian Health are currently looking for a number of
Catering Staff to work in one of our NHS hospital sites in the Chelmsford area for immediate start.
These will be temporary ongoing roles with hourly rates starting at 9.50 per hour with enhancements for weekends.
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday between the hours 7AM to 8PM. Shift duration and patterns can vary in length and duration depending on whats best for you. We can accommodate full-time or part time needs.
This role requires you to cater for patients across the hospital, assist in basic meal prep and keep kitchen areas clean
Duties Include:
- Taking food orders and serving meals to patients on wards with vital consideration of nutritional and dietary requirements
- Transporting food on trolleys from Kitchens to wards
- Serving in canteen areas and cafe's to staff and visitors
- Kitchen cleaning and dish washing
- Assisting in preparing food in kitchens and canteens when required
