Job role: Control Systems Engineer
Salary: £33,000-£35,000 DOE
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:15-15:45.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Holiday: 29 days including Bank Holidays, plus 4 over Christmas
Overtime: Time 1/3 midweek, time Saturdays
The Company:
Interaction have partnered with a manufacturer of metering, mixing and dispensing systems on their search for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join their busy team. The role requires the designing & developing of both electrical and pneumatic controls solutions for specialist and standard machine production on Meter, Mix & Dispense equipment.
The Benefits:
£33,000-£35,000 salary dependent on experience
Overtime readily available at time 1/3, time Saturday
29 days including bank holidays, plus 4 days over Christmas

The Role:
Design and develop control systems for electro-mechanical sub systems and overall machine control
Electrical/electronic design as well as Pneumatic design
Creation of controls drawings for production
PLC & HMI programming
Robot programming
Electrical testing of completed machines
Design for UKCA, CE and EMC compliance
Trouble shooting issues within the production and in service
Work with the technical and engineering teams
Minimum travel would be expected to customer sites
The Requirements:
HND in electrical or electronic engineering (essential)
Minimum of 3 years experience within the industry (essential)
Knowledge of PLC Programming (advantageous)
Electronic Design experience (advantageous)
