Head of Extra Care - Housing

Full Time Hours : 70 hours over 2 weeks (nine-day fortnight)
We are working with a leading, well established housing organisation that specialises in social housing, residential and extra care across the UK.
We are supporting the recruitment of a head of Extra Care to oversee their region which encompasses Doncaster, Newcastle and Cumbria, with social housing, extra care and residential services within the region.
We are looking for a strategic leader who has the oversight and experience within social housing/CQC/Extra Care to lead, develop and support their busy team of Regional Managers. Leading by example and continuous review for improvement within service delivery, policies and procedures.
This role holds the accountability for the performance and potential within the region and is the pivotal role in the overall success of the Extra Care services, so your ability to take the lead in wider extra care and projects & initiatives is essential
Reporting directly to the Executive Board of Directors, we are looking for a strategist, who is able to lead, influence, analyse and bring about change and development where needed.
Essentials
- Experience of working at a senior level within a housing organisation, or similar.
- A background and knowledge of working within the regulated environments of older people's housing and/or social care services
- A knowledge/background in CQC Legislation/Regulation
- Experience in managing and inspiring a large team of manager's and their teams, across the region, remote and face to face.
