You will be a catalyst for growth and a real change agent. So adding insight through information, change through challenge and financial improvement through forecasting will all be in a day's work.
Directly reporting into the CFO this role will suit an ambitious finance professional. Because the CFO will mirror your commitment to your career providing development opportunities and support enhancing your career.
Your new role
This role is newly created. And that s both part of the challenge and opportunity. Because there s no trodden path or established processes. And whilst this allows you to put your own stamp on it, this level of ambiguity isn t for everybody.
The key responsibilities are:
- FP&A activities providing clear insight and commentary to the Board.
- Supporting and challenging strategic initiatives such as sales pipelines, pricing and margins.
- Delivering better financial outcomes by identifying risks and opportunities and driving action across the business.
- Provide forward looking analysis such as benchmarking and competitor analysis.
- Seeking efficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
- M&A activity.

Benefits
- Base salary: £50k to £60k (37.5 hours per week)
- WFH 2 days per week Near Bridgend and Port Talbot 3 days

Flexibility will be required in the first couple of months to ensure a successful on-boarding experience.
Skills and experience to be successful
- A qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Forecasting and modelling in excel.
- Analytical thinking.
- Driving and leading the agenda with escalation by exception.
- Stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Use of ERP systems.
- Naturally inquisitive.
