Our client is a well established and successful Property Investment Group who require an experienced coordinator to assist within their Insurance Team
The role is to effectively deal with all aspects relating to the administration of a variety of insurances including commercial, residential, contract works and engineering within their portfolio
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To deal with insurance queries from tenants/lessees and Managing Agents and to issue appropriate credit/debits to them
To deal with underwriting queries from insurers and queries from auditors preparing service charge accounts.
To issues copy policy documents and schedules, as necessary.
To liaise with insurers on general queries and advise them of any changes which may affect the policy cover.
To liaise as necessary and appropriately with other parties e.g. surveyors, valuers, Managing Agents and other company departments to ensure that requirements are implemented.
To obtain quotations from and negotiate with insurers in relation to both new business and remarketing of existing business at renewal
To check premium calculations and documents received from insurers to ensure they are correct in all respects
To check processing for payment to insurers and recovery of premiums.
To maintain and build insurance relations.
To review leases and ensure that insurance covenants are appropriately insured.
To carry out necessary associated general office duties i.e. answering telephone, filing, photocopying etc.
To carry out other duties as may from time to time be required as directed by the Insurance Manager and which are within the capabilities of the job holder.
To attend site visits with insurance surveyors and Managing Agents.

IT SKILLS:
PC literate for our in-house computer system
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Good knowledge of the Commercial insurance market and how insurers deal with risk etc.
This role is based at our clients offices in London WC2 and you wil be required to work from these offices in a socially distanced and safe environment
