One of our favourite clients is looking for a Policy Advisor to join the prep for their exciting annual sustainable finance project. You get the opportunity to provide and steer content and policy insight on sustainable finance for their annual summit. It is fast paced and rewarding, they have an "all hands on deck" approach and work together to get this project off the ground.
This is a part-time role, focused on the programme and content associated with the Summit and other associated engagement.
JOB TITLE: Policy / Programme Advisor
COMPANY: Financial Services - Sustainable Finance
CONTRACT:?Interim role - from ASAP to end of May
HOURS: 20 hours per week, either 4 hours per day Monday-Friday or one full day and three half days (they can be flexible, they need the right person!)
LOCATION: City of London
PAY RATE: £25 - £30 per hour

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
- Drives Summit programme and content. Drafts detailed agenda and concept notes, setting out detailed objectives, for each programme element. This includes any side events.
- Works closely with internal colleagues to ensure alignment with existing sustainable finance programme and objectives.
- Produces short and long list of preferred speakers.
- Incorporates feedback from Strategic Board into agenda and concept notes.
- Supports speaker liaison as appropriate. This includes drafting speaker briefs and answering any queries.
- Supports delivery of any collateral needed for the Summit and to enhance its impact.
- Produces brush-bys for Summit and Dinner guests.
- Writes up Summit discussions to feed into post-Summit comms.
- Forms part of core project team and advises colleagues on all aspects of the project.
- Utilises industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Actively seeks to implement the Occupational Health and Safety Policy in relation to the duties of the post, and at all times give due regard to the health and safety of both themselves and others when carrying out their duties.

- Undertakes any other duties that may reasonably be requested appropriate to the grade
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Experience in sustainable finance policy is a MUST!
- Strong drafting skills are a MUST!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT literacy skills in MS Outlook, Word Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude.
- Able to multitask and prioritise
