Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with experience working in the commercial sector.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial refurbishment projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including project timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Oversee the work of contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring that all work is carried out to the required quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are understood and met.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring that all project objectives are being met, and take corrective action as required.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including project reports, schedules, and budget tracking.
  • Manage the risk associated with the project and implement mitigation strategies as required.
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to and that all necessary Health and Safety documentation is in place.
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering commercial refurbishment projects.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and experience in managing Health and Safety on construction sites.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
