REPAIRS SCHEDULER (Repairs and Maintenance)

Monday to Friday 8am 5pm
Salary: £29,000 - £31,000
Skilled Careers are working with a widely known main contractor within the social housing sector. They are looking for several Repairs Schedulers to join their team in Enfield working on repairs and maintenance. A Schedulers role is key to supporting the delivery of a planned maintenance and repairs You will be providing administrative support to your colleagues on the contract, the tradesmen, operatives, the client and the residents.
A Repairs Scheduler is a key position for our client your role is key in supporting the delivery of planned maintenance and repairs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The main aim of this position is to Schedule works and appointments for the operatives, deal with calls from residents, clients and suppliers. The work is revolved around maintenance work for breakdowns, appointments, annual programmes, emergency work and managing safety documents.
You will oversee and Schedule a team of operatives liaise with clients, maintain effective work systems, documentation and compliance, whilst working to established processes & procedures and manage the Repairs Management systems.
You will also look to you to provide support to the management team, general contract administration support including reports, spreadsheets and manage and distribute mail & maintain filing systems.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Experience in a Scheduling position, coordinating or Administration is key
Having knowledge in housing maintenance, construction or property services is a bonus!
Strong organisation skills A lot of your time will be spent speaking with trade operatives, residents, managements and our client!
Strong communication skills Effectively communicating at levels commensurate with role, both verbally and in writing
Be able to work deadlines and be able to work in a fast-paced office environment.
Strong IT skills
