Sales Assistants Required.
We are currently looking to recruit Sales Assistants for a temp-to-perm role for our well established client in Inverness.
Our client has been well established global business since 1951 and is a leading supplier of electrical products and services for professional buyers and installers. Our client operates across the UK via a national network of 390 stores and online sites.
The Sales Assistants role includes generating and increasing sales through serving customers on the trade counter, as well as over the telephone, preparing customer quotations, purchase ordering, supplier negotiation and warehouse duties including, picking customer orders, plus goods in /out responsibilities.
Our client is looking for someone with a positive attitude, keen to learn new things and who strives to go above and beyond to exceed the customers expectations.
Hours
Monday-Friday.
07:00/08:00 a.m. starts, with days averaging 8-9 hours per day.
Immediate Starts Available.
Sales Assistant Role and Responsibilities
-Serving customers on the trade counter
-Internal sales / answering the telephone
-Preparing customer quotations
-Purchase ordering and supplier negotiation
-Customer order picking
-Goods in / out responsibilities
-Wholesale experience is preferable but not essential
-Strong work ethic and initiative
-Ability to work under pressure
-A driving licence is preferred but not essential.
