Structural Associate Director / Team LeaderWigan, Lancashire. £60,000 - £70,000 basic salary + private healthcare + annual bonusA nationwide multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy are actively looking to recruit a Structural Associate Director to lead their Structural department based in Wigan working largely in the Residential and Commercial sectors. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to further their career and have a future as the office structural director. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and will be in charge of a department of 4 staff and work closely alongside the Civils team of over 10 engineers and technicians too. Person specification for a Structural Associate Director: 10+ years experience in a relevant role Educated to degree or HNC level. Chartered or Incorporated member of an Institution relevant to their field (eg, ICE, IStuctE, CIWEM, CIOB) preferable but not essential. Ability to manage a team of and mentor junior members of staff. Ability to analyse and monitor project finances. Self-motivated and ambitious. A good self-manager of time and work. Strong team player with an energetic outlook that motivates others. Experienced in use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and Power Point. Effective communication skills. Client facingTechnical specification: Some of the key skills and expertise required for this role will include: Working knowledge of AutoCAD. Practical understanding of their field. Working knowledge of software used for design in their field Project management skills using RSK procedures. Understand and implement Designer's duties under the CDM Regulations 2015.
