You will be supporting the Senior Network Manager (AOM) by maintaining the ATO requirements for their Network Area and to manage natural resource use across their network areas. In addition to this you will be dealing with the management and day to day operations of the Utilities Network Area to which the appointment applies, maintaining a 24/7/365 operational delivery service.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:
To undertake Facility Management (FM) duties for the Network area and to maintain ATO (Authority to operate) requirements, inclusive of reporting requirements.
Line Management of 2 Electrical operations managers.
To manage and ensure plant is operated and maintained to meet legislative requirements within the area of appointment.
To derive and manage allocated budgets and monthly forecasting within agreed boundaries.
To undertake Senior Authorising Appointment roles within appointed boundaries.
Ensure operators/residents work within Safe Operating Boundaries (SOB), as defined by the Safety Basis for the Network.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to produce and maintain a Safety Basis/Safety Statement for allocated facilities.
To provision reports to AOM / Group Leader to meet FM duties and corporate responsibilities (including permits).
To minimise the business impact of plant failures and to expedite notification of repair requirements inclusive of cost.
To maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and to be a great team player.
Manage maintenance plans, delivery & configuration requirements for the Network.
We are looking for the Network Manager to demonstrate the following although this is not essential:
Technician Based Apprenticeship / NVQ4.
Additional qualifications specific to the Network area.
Fully conversant with the Network plant, government energy policies & strategies.
Ability to manage plant failures and deliver under pressure.
Experience of Management of operational plant & teams.
Experience of Leading teams to deliver across assets of varying age, understanding failure modes and risk to safely maximise asset use.
Capable of engaging with regulatory bodies and hosting audits.
