Air Freight Coordinator - Freight Forwarding - Bradford - Up to £33,000

About the Company

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced AIR FREIGHT Import / Export Operator who has experience in both Import and Export Air Freight movements. They are a well established Freight forwarder with an incredible reputation within the industry!

Air Freight Operator - Responsibilities
  • Speaking to customers/agents on a daily basis.
  • Receiving quotation enquiries for Air import and export.
  • Answering Overseas agent e-mails.
  • Dealing directly with the Gateway/Airlines to obtain rates
  • Quotation to customer through RTC
  • Following up of customer quotations for feedback.
  • Booking of airfreight consignments with the Gateway export
  • Invoicing sales and purchases
  • Any other duties commensurate with the position
  • Growing the airfreight business, contacting potential customers, and engaging with customers on a regular basis
Air Freight Operator Requirements
  • You must minimum 2 years Air Freight Experience in IMPORTS and/or EXPORTS
  • Road and Sea Freight may be considered
  • Fully understand all processes, documentation and terminologies used in Air Freight
  • Customs experience desirable but not essential
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering great service
  • A real self-starter with lots of enthusiasm and a sense of individuality
