Automation Engineer - Manufacturing & Engineering - Lancaster - £50,000 + Package

About the Company

Our client a leading manufacturing and engineering firm are looking to recruit a self-driven Systems and Applications Engineer to join their team in Lancaster.

Automation Engineer - The Rewards
  • £50,000 + Package
  • Days based - Monday to Friday
Automation Engineer Requirements
  • Minimum of three years work experience with Automation Systems, DCS, PLC/SCADA, SRS
  • Be qualified to at least HNC/HND level in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Have experience of Quality Control Systems (QCS), on-line measurement devices and paper machine MD & CD controls.
  • Have experience of Hima Safety Instrumented System
  • Know about Functional Safety (TUV)
  • Be qualified to a Bachelor s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Have experience of identifying business opportunities at customers sites
  • Have experience of providing detailed project/service documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems
  • Be able to design/generate/modify DCS / SIS application software and hardware to fulfil customer requirements
Automation Engineer Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and on demand customer service including software development and documentation, maintenance/inspection of automation systems
  • Adhere to regulatory and Company health, safety and environmental policy
  • Required to positively influence the company s reputation by displaying a professional dedication toward customer service.
