Job Description

We at Twenty4Seven Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team in Coventry.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing guidance, support, and intervention strategies to help students manage their behavior and thrive in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with students, providing mentorship and emotional support to help them develop self-confidence and resilience.

  • Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to support students with challenging behavior, addressing underlying issues and promoting positive alternatives.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement individual behavior plans tailored to students' needs and circumstances.

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them develop social skills, emotional regulation techniques, and problem-solving strategies.

  • Monitor and record student behavior and progress, documenting observations and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure consistent support and intervention.

  • Organize and facilitate workshops, activities, and programs aimed at promoting positive behavior, conflict resolution, and personal development among students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children or young people in a mentoring, coaching, or support role.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting students with challenging behavior.

  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies and intervention techniques, with the ability to adapt approaches to meet individual needs.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
