CNC Engineer

CNC Programmer/ Setter/operator/manual machinist required by busy engineering company. Working as part of a small team it is essential to be self motivated with a flexible approach. You will be required to set and operate CNC machines producing components to tight tolerances. Essential . At least 3 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering Environment Ability to use manual lathes and milling machines Ability to set and operate CNC Lathes and Milling Machines including set up of tooling Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and work orders accurately Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail . The ability to thrive in a small business environment - willing to get stuck into tasks You will also take responsibility for keeping your own workspace clean and tidy Inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and gauges Knowledge of Quailty and Safety standards, procedures and regulations. Desirable . Experience with programming using Mazatol is extremely desirable A relevant manufacturing Engineering qualification Ability to come in and hit the ground running. Hours of work 40 per week : Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm Friday 7.30am- 1.30pm. 34,000 per annum. Temporary to Permanent contract given after successful interview and trial period.
