They specialise in delivering schemes in various different sectors such as pubs, restaurants, hotels and schools.

The Project

Working as a Contracts Manager, you will be working closely and reporting to the Operations Manager whilst overseeing the fitouts / refurbs of various pubs and restaurants. All the projects are Nationwide, you will be expeced to travel and visit these sites when required.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

  • A satisfactory amount of experience in the industry
  • Excellent working knowledge of health and safety
  • Impressive track record of working on refurbs / fitouts
  • Good understanding of all aspects of contracting process and technical building requirements

The Role

Duties

  • Reporting directly to the operations manager
  • Inspect the standards of the projects efficiently
  • Maintaining and keeping the contract up to date
  • Ensuring health and safety is been undertaken at all times
  • Determine the main communication association between the team and the company
  • Guide the project and team to deliver good standards, promoting company vision and values
  • Deliver operational effectiveness and observe the quality of the work to ensure it is up to high standards
  • Always making sure the project is completed to a high standard & good quality, safe, cost effective and builds a close client relationship
  • Approving and inspecting the Project Management Plan (PMP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and proves control documents for each project after their preparation by the project team
  • Ensure the PMP is developed throughout the project and that all operations are conducted in accordance with it
  • Overseeing that an adequate Technical, Safety and Environmental review is carried out for each and every project
  • Secure that safety is outlined before the start of the project, ensuring all team players have the appropriate timescale and the correct resources, information and training to carry out the operation to the highest standards in the industry
  • Be observant of the overall safety, environmental and quality performance of each project and ensure that action is taken whenever the standards are not being met
