Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities of our company.

An active CPA is required!

Experience in manufacturing preferred!

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
Coordinate and oversee the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor budget variances.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements.
Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary updates to accounting policies and procedures.
Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Active CPA
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software] is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound business decisions.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
