Design and Technology Teacher

Permanent Role - Design and Technology Teacher for September 2024!

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a qualified Design and Technology Teacher to work in an exciting secondary school in the Thanet area from September. The role is full time and permanent with a salary of between 30,000 and 46,525 depending on experience. Both experienced and ECT's are encouraged to apply!

The role:

• Plan and deliver creative Design and Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Monitor and assess the progress of the students ensuring support is provided where needed
• Attend Departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
• Liaise and collaborate with colleagues both within the department but also within the wider school effectively to ensure a consistent approach to teaching

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience teaching Design and Technology across both KS3 and KS4 year groups
• Strong subject knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum across all disciplines
• Right to work in the UK
• Hold or be willing to apply for a DBS certificate on the update service
