Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity at a well-established automotive company are looking for a design engineer to join their team. Based in Leicestershire, this company is a leading automotive manufacturer. You will benefit from a starting salary of 40k DOE.

As Design Engineer will you be responsible for:

• Powertrain and chassis experience - desirable
• Component level automotive design.
• Structural frame design experience.
• 3D CAD using Creo.

The successful Design Engineer will have:

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product or Innovation Engineering.
• Experience in the design and analysis of optomechanics and motion systems.
• 3D CAD such as Inventor (it doesn't matter how you write it, so long as you can use it!)

As a Design Engineer you will receive the following:

• 40-45,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
