Key Responsibilities:
Provide system integration and electrical/electronic guidance during the initial design phase of a range of products.
Support the capture of customer software and system requirements for GAINS and seating products.
Translate customer requirements into system and software product requirements.
Prepare test procedures, reports, and other documentation for product verification, validation, and qualification.
Participate in verification and qualification test activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Support software validation testing for GAINS, ensuring equipment function aligns with detailed functional requirements.
Prepare new electrical drawings and drawing modifications on appropriate programs.
Manage system requirements and open issues through appropriate tools.
Support meetings with suppliers, customers, and airworthiness authorities.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and contribute to a safe working environment.
Assist team members with tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical, Systems, and/or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
HNC/HND in Electrical, Systems, and/or Electronic Engineering.

Experience and Skills:
Experience in electrical and software systems design or test engineering (Aerospace/Motor vehicle).
Experience in the aircraft or defence electronics industry.
Experience in design, testing, or qualification of aircraft Galley products.
Experience in sub-system software requirements.
Experience in testing embedded systems and software, using LabVIEW.
Leadership of small engineering teams, planning, and project management.
Qualification and certification of aircraft products.
Electrical Power testing related to three-phase aircraft electrical systems.
Experience in Electrical, EMC, or software test plan creation.
Familiarity with DO160 electrical and EMC test requirements.
Knowledge of electronic component selection and substitution.
Knowledge of design for EMC.
Detail design of digital and analogue Electrical/Electronic systems.
Knowledge of C or C++ programming.
Understanding of aircraft electrical regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with electrical safety.
Proficiency in MS Office suite applications.
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Hours
Full-time hours: 39 Hours
Mon - Thurs: 8:00 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch)
Fri: 8:00 - 13:00 (no lunch)
