Job Description

KPI Recruiting are looking out for a Machine Operative for our client based in Bolton.

As a Machine Operative you will be the start of the process for the manufacturing of their office furniture. The FLT Driver is responsible for loading the two saws with the sheets of wood. The panels of wood then go from there to the edge bander which puts the edging around the panels. From there, they go to the baz machines for cutting into the desired shape and then onto the drilling machines befeore being passed to the assembly department.

Hours for the Machine Operative :

  • Monday Friday,
  • Week 1 - 06:00 until 14:00
  • Week 2 14:00 until 22:00
  • Paying £12.00 per hour

The role as a Machine Operative within the machine shop can vary from backing off a machine, cleaning the wood surfaces, packing, or operating the CNC Machines once experience has been gained.
