Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant Position Available, Newham
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school community in Newham.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Year 2 pupil with ASD and associated behavioral needs on a one-to-one basis.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support to a Year 2 student with ASD.
Providing assistance with personal care
Assisting with managing associated behavioral needs
Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.
SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with children with special educational needs
Strong understanding of ASD and associated needs
Energy and enthusiasm to engage with an active child
Ability to provide personal care support
Local to Newham
