Press Brake Operator

Our client based on Halesfield, Telford are looking to expand their small but friendly team by adding a Pressbrake orientated person to their team.

As a Pressbrake Operator/ Setter you will be:

• esponsible for own workload
• Ensuring OTIF
• Ensuring work completed in timely manner
• Operation of 3 meter and 4 meter Amada Pressbrakes
• Willingness to be trained in other areas to become multiskilled and use other machinery such as Spot Welder, Saw and potentially Laser
• Work effectively as a team and efficiently independently.

The ideal candidate will have experience on Pressbrakes, and pay is dependent on experience:

• Hourly rate of up to 15 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday overtime at time and a quarter
• Saturday overtime at time and a half
• Sunday overtime at double time
• Each month all staff, are eligible to receive a bonus based on the company achievements for that month.

Hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm

Friday 8am-2pm

Candidates must have experience on a pressbrake and those without this need not apply.

This is a temp to perm vacancy with a full contract being offered after 9 full working weeks, and a permanent position may considered initially for the right candidate.
