Taskmaster Resources Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Production Operatives for our client based in the Sheffield area.
The successful candidate will have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, mechanical and heavy manufacturing experience and excellent communication skills.
Job Duties will include:
Ability to work on various production machinery throughout the manufacturing process, including lathes, milling machines and saws.
Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate tooling and ability to select the correct speeds and feeds.
Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
Conduct daily maintenance checks on machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings (both metric and imperial).
Adheres to all Health and Safety guidelines.
Manual handling will be involved so applicants must be physically fit and have a good understanding of written instruction.
The working hours are based on a rotating shift pattern :
Days : Monday - Thursday, 06:00 - 16:15 (with 30 min unpaid lunch)
Lates: Monday - Thursday, 16:15 - 02:00 (with 30 min unpaid lunch) and would carry shift premium of 23%
Pay Rate:
Day shift - 12 p/h
Afternoon shift - 14.76 p/h
Overtime will be available at premium rates.
