Project Planner

Location: No fixed place of work; ability to commute to sites in Milton Keynes and Central London is a must.
Salary: 40,000 - 55,000 dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full time, permanent role.
Must have: SC Clearance or ability to pass one.

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join one of the largest player in the Facilities Management industry. You will be an integral contributor to the Projects and billable works teams, developing and shaping the Project Management Office function, ensuring processes are followed and governance is adhered to. You will facilitate the successful delivery of new and existing projects and programmes.
The Project Planner will lead on all processes for projects, from initiation to delivery, including governance of the stage gate process ensuring it is -a fit for purpose process which enables effective project delivery.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring project processes align with business goals.
  • Manage the production of budgets, forecasts through identification of risks and opportunities
  • Tracking the progress of project programmes
  • Ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing documentation for project creation, development, and implementation
  • Analysing financial data and Tracking performance vs budgets
  • Calculating the monetary risk for each project
  • Producing financial reports and budget outlines
  • Creating reports for senior managers and stakeholders
  • Reviewing and updating existing procedures


About you:
Must have:

  • Experience of working within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of project delivery within the public sector with demonstrable experience in leading and managing PMO teams.
  • Commercially strong and financially focused.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office suite of applications in particular an advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Collation of service data, detailed reporting, and performance analysis.
  • SC clearance or ability to obtain one.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the use of CAFM systems.
  • Experience in Facilities Management.
