This public building and healthcare led consultancy have over 50 years experience in the industry and are looking for Structural Design Engineers to join their team, to make a direct impact on their already diverse portfolio.

Overview:

You will be working as part of the Dorking-based structural engineering team, focusing on an engaging portfolio of projects in the UK and internationally. You would work on anything from Residential, Leisure, Education, Industrial, Commercial and Hospital/Health projects. This is a real chance to gain more autonomy and use your design and construction knowledge!

The Project / Senior Structural Engineer will have:

  • Chartered status with the Institution of Structural Engineers or the Institution of Civil Engineers is beneficial but not essential
  • Work independently and as part of a team, offering creative solutions
  • Produce calculations, models, reports, and presentations to an excellent standard, on time and to budget
  • Share your work for review by senior colleagues and review the work of others for quality assurance
  • Lead teams, making timely decisions, and corrective actions, fostering an atmosphere that delivers excellent work
  • Collaborate with external clients and seize opportunities to engage other internal discipline designers
  • Actively maintain an external and internal network
  • Conduct Surveys and write Reports

Project / Senior Structural Engineer Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years UK building structures design experience
  • Strong design knowledge and use of using British and European codes of practice
  • Experience in using MasterSeries is advantageous
  • Experience with TEDD software is good but not essential
  • A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering
  • Strong communication and writing skills
