Registered Manager

Service: 3-Bed Children's EBD Provider
Status: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to set up, lead and manage a brand-new 3-bed children's EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people by providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and support are provided.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care professionals to deliver outstanding care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
• Foster a positive and therapeutic environment, promoting the emotional and physical well-being of the children.
• Liaise with external agencies, including local authorities, schools, and healthcare providers.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth operation of the home.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role within a children's residential care setting.
• Strong understanding of EBD and therapeutic care approaches.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements (Ofsted).
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 5 Diploma or equivalent).
• Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
