An opportunity is available for a Senior Healthcare Assistant (SHCA). Male Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCA) and Female Senior Healthcare Assistants (SHCA)

A local Senior Healthcare Assistant (SHCA) is needed to strengthen our staff. You will be the team leader for your team of healthcare assistants as a SHCA, ensuring everyone on your team treats every patient with courtesy and privacy while focusing on their specific requirements.

In this position, you will have the following role:

  • Ensuring that each person's freedom of choice and individuality is respected
  • Maintaining thorough care and medical documents
  • Creating a supportive workplace
  • Assisting your care staff and hosting their inspections/evaluations
  • Cooperating with family members and medical experts to provide each resident with the best treatment possible

The requirements

You must have the following qualifications for this position:

  • Relevant expertise in Medication Administration
  • Hold essential nursing home skills
  • Hold a valid NVQ Stage 2 to 6 or a comparable diploma.
  • To know basic care home software operations such as PCS, EMARS & Med-E Care.
