Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: London

Compensation: 55,000 - 70,000

Job Summary:



My client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for steel construction projects, including materials, labour, and other associated costs.
  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and measurements from project drawings and specifications.
  • Analyse project requirements, specifications, and contract documents to identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to develop comprehensive cost plans and budgets.
  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying variances and implementing cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the steel construction industry.
