Solicitor

Fully remote

50 per hour (umbrella)

Full Time Contract ( 4 months )

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Solicitor specialising in Public Rughts of Way. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours. The employer can offer fully remote working

The job:

  • To provide legal advice and have conduct of a caseload of Public Rights of Way matters to be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate
  • To include reviewing documentation, drafting of statement of reasons, interviewing users and preparing witness statements and comments on objections
  • Liaising with Paralegals and Senior lawyers as required
  • Such other duties and responsibilities of a similar grade and nature as required.

The candidate:

  • Experience of working in a local government legal environment using up to date and authoritative knowledge to support delivery of services
  • Experience of working to deadlines and managing own caseload
  • Must be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales
  • Knowledge of Public Rights of Way Law is essential
