Salary Range: 20,941.30 - 22,835.30 (based on experience and qualifications) + 1000 Welcome bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term time only

A specialized school catering to 11-16-year-olds with SEMH needs, is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate supportive relationships with students to ensure their safety and enjoyment at school.
• Encourage independence and personal growth while maintaining high behavioral expectations.
• Assist in delivering a diverse curriculum to help students achieve their full potential.
• Support the Class Teacher in various classroom activities.
• Adapt to the dynamic needs of the school to ensure smooth operations.
• Promote holistic development in students, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical well-being.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-professional team.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to incidents, health, and behavior.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to build professional relationships with students.
• GCSE (or equivalent) pass in Maths and English.
• Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
• Commitment to prioritizing the needs of students as individuals.
• Positive and creative approach to meeting student needs.
