Make a Difference in Young Lives - Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant (27.5 hours per week)

At Educate, we are looking for a compassionate and patient individual to join our supply team as a full-time SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant at a local school in Crewe. As a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll embark on a fulfilling journey where you will:

  • Embrace Specialised Skills: Utilise your Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification to provide personaliaed support to children with diverse learning and communication needs, implementing specific interventions to facilitate their academic and personal growth.
  • Innovate and Adapt: Continuously expand your expertise by exploring new strategies and interventions that aid learning and communication, ensuring you remain at the forefront of best practices in special education.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 child or teaching assistant qualification (like a BTEC National Diploma)
  • Experience working with pupils assessed to have special educational needs, including autism
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive, friendly attitude and a genuine wish to help pupils succeed

This is a temporary, part-time role for one academic year. The hours of work are 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break.

Registrations required to be a Teaching Assistant:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
