Warehouse Team Leader - Dorking
Location: Dorking Salary: Up to 35,000 DOE Working hours: 40 hours per week - 7.30am to 4.30pm and 10.00am to 7.00pm alternating weeks
Are you ready to take charge of warehouse operations and lead a team to success? We're seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Dorking, where you'll oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling and allocation of tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of goods receipt, put away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Resolve warehouse queries promptly and effectively, including collection issues, customer complaints, and stock discrepancies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the warehouse.
Key Requirements:
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Ability to optimize storage space and organize material handling processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on positive team influence.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
Performance Measures:
- Timely booking of goods in SAP system.
- Efficient resolution of warehouse queries and backordered goods.
- Prompt processing of customer returns and order dispatch.
- Achieving stock accuracy targets and minimizing customer complaints.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
